Some companies are trying to trick the public by claiming they do restorations. Ultrasonic cleaning will not remove oxidation from the connector pins. Any chemical that will do that would damage the ultrasonic tank. There is a lot more to it than that. Ultrasonic cleaning is for eyeglasses and rings, not connector pins.
Ask yourself this: how can a company quote a price without looking at it? No testing, no inspection. Toss out a price with .88 on the end because it sounds better than .99? How do you put work on sale without looking at it? This is called gouging the customer. The only way you can quote a price without looking at it is to overprice it so you don’t lose money on the job. It is dishonest, but the worst part is that the harness is often sent to us after the fly-by-night company destroys it.
Wiring Harness Restoration does not need disclaimers on our website stating that we are not affiliated with anyone else, because we are not trying to trick anyone. We do not rebuild ECUs, we are busy enough with harnesses. That is all we do, and we are the best at it. All harnesses are built by hand, by experts, and we don’t ship until it is 100% correct.
